Kapunda High School

　　Kapunda High School is a relatively small country high school with a current enrolment of around 480.

　　We are geographically located 80 kilometres north east of the Adelaide GPO between the Barossa and Clare Valleys in the town of Kapunda, Australia’s oldest mining town. We are amongst the oldest secondary schools in rural South Australia and celebrated our centenary in 2007.

　　The school draws students from a wide socio-economic cross-section, with a wide range of values and abilities. Our students come from the Kapunda township and district as well as the communities of Freeling, Roseworthy, Wasleys, Greenock and Gawler.

　　We pride ourselves on our ability to offer a wide range of curriculum and extra curricula activities to our students delivered by a conscientious and dedicated staff who work closely with our parents and wider community.

　　Kapunda High School（https://school.wjszx.com.cn/au/kapundahs/） has existed since 1907 as an additional section of the Primary School with its own teaching staff. The transfer to the new building was completed when Sidney Kidman officially opened the new premises on 12 October 1922.

　　The exterior of the building has not changed much over the years. Internally however, rooms have been frequently changed to fit school use. The most recent changes have involved the foyer which has seen the addition of a reception desk, display cabinet and doorway, as well as carpet. The changes are in sympathy with the existing woodwork.
