普渡大学西拉法叶分校（Purdue University ,West Lafayette）常被称作“普渡大学”，也译作“普度大学”，是普渡大学系统三所分校的主校区。据立思辰留学360介绍，位于美国印第安纳州的西拉法叶，是一所著名的公立研究型大学，素以工学、农学和航天著称于世。该校也是美国五大湖地区的体育赛事联盟十大联盟（Big Ten）的一员，也是美国大学协会的会员。世界登月人阿姆斯特朗便是该校1947级的校友。在美国航天局（NASA）的任务中中，超过1/3的登月任务至少有一位普渡校友参与。
申请说明
申请普渡大学的学生有2种申请途径：Common Application与学校官网。前者面向普通大一新生开放申请；后者主要向转学生、重复申请学生及远程教育项目的学生开放申请。国际新生需通过Common Application（申请开放日期8月1日）上交所有中学成绩单（初中及高中），如不能通过该系统提交可通过学生所在中学或考试委员会提交。
据立思辰留学360介绍，中国申请者除提供中学成绩外，还需提供9-11年级的英文翻译成绩单。学生接到录取通知后，需尽快提交12年级的成绩单。普渡大学规定中国学生在校英语、数学、生物、化学或物理均分达到B（80-89）以上者才有可能考虑录取。
