　　温哥华公立教育局(SD39)建立于1886年，是加拿大西部最大的校区之一。39学区自1985年开始招收国际学生，可招收国际学生的学校为18所，国际教育计划为来自加拿大以外国家的学生提供优质的中学教育(8至12年级)，并为母语为非英语的学生提供英语作为第二外语的课程(ESL)。
